I have been teaching guitar for many years; privately and in the classroom. I specialize in teaching classical guitar but also play several other instruments.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance under Dr. Eladio Scharrón at the University of Central Florida, and received my Master's degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. There I studied with Denis Azabagic, winner of 11 major international guitar competitions and recognized as one of the premier guitar virtuosos in the world.
I am currently the Outreach Coordinator for the Florida Guitar Foundation and I teach guitar full-time at South Dade Senior High School. I have a great deal of knowledge and I love to teach. I feel that my wide instrumental and stylistic experience give me a well-rounded perspective, which I strive to impart to my students.
