With a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Guitar achieved and a Master's Degree in Studio/Jazz Guitar in progress, I can offer students of all ages instruction a diverse range of styles, techniques, and genres including pop, rock, blues, jazz, classical, improvisation, and songwriting. With over five years experience teaching in both private and group settings, committed students of all abilities can expect to see and hear progress each week. Previous students of mine have gone on to be admitted into University level guitar programs throughout Southern California.
*** Lesson Details ***
Lessons are tailored to maximize student involvement by drawing upon the student's musical interests. Lessons are formatted in a two-prong method, one part fun (learning songs, riffs, and licks) and one part discipline (learning techniques and music theory). Students can expect to enjoy learning songs from a wide variety of genres and go home after each lesson feeling inspired to work on the concepts and techniques presented.
