I love teaching and using humor to make learning fun. I like a lot of different styles of music, with a special love for blues, jazz, rock, and video game music. I've been playing the guitar for almost 20 years, the piano for nearly 15 years, and I've been singing since high school. I taught myself to play guitar because I wanted to perform songs while singing, and because I started to feel silly playing air guitar in front of the mirror in my room while singing along to my favorite songs. Now, I'm a full-time licensed music teacher, a manager and singer for a choir that records video game soundtracks, and an online teacher. I really enjoy using people's interests to teach them instead of relying on the same old repertoire for every student. If it's not fun, you won't want to keep learning after all!
