Clarinet with Danah L.

Hello! I am currently a student at the University of North Texas as a third year Music Education student with a focus in Clarinet Studies. I am actually a transfer student at this university and am very excited to continue my education at this school. I played Bass Clarinet from middle school until currently, so roughly 9 years total, I started taking lessons in sixth grade and have soared above my own expectations because of it. It helped me achieve things I didn’t see possible for myself. But now I am currently a Clarinet player, which I have played for 3 years total. I played, in high school, in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra for 2 years on the clarinet before coming to UNT. I did audition on my bass clarinet during the audition process to get into UNT and was accepted to the program. I did take a couple year break from my instruments for roughly two years before I audition but while in high school some of my awards for my bass clarinet include: making state twice solo and ensemble, and making area for region, making finals for senior recital, and participating two years in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra.
