I am a Certified Mandarin Chinese teacher who has received a B.A. and M.A. of language education from South China Normal University. I am also a Beijing Culture and Language University Teaching Proficiency Certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Second language recipient; Senior Chinese Language teacher certified by International Profession Certification Association. am very flexible with my teaching methods and materials. I love to tailor my lessons accordin During years of my teaching experience, I have taught students from young kids to adults, from very beginner to advanced high levels. I am always very flexible with my teaching methods and materials. I tailor my lessons according to students' background and needs. Besides teaching Chinese, I also teach classical piano. Grown up in a very musical family, I started to play the piano since I was very young. Although I chose to study linguistic for my college level education, I took piano lessons privately with famous professors from some major music conservatories. I have never given up my piano playing and teaching. In years of the piano teaching career, many of my students have passed the ABRSM piano certification exam with great grades. I also include my piano lessons with ear training and music theory study.
