I graduated from UNC-G with Bachelor of Music in Music Education. i studied piano and voice in college and I have taken necessary time to learn the organ and guitar as well. Teaching since 1984. Instruments that I teach: piano, voice (singing), guitar, and organ. The first step is to meet at my home studio and discuss your interest in an instrument. Sometimes during the meeting, students change their minds. For example, a student wants to play piano initially but switches to voice. You know what? That's OK. Just get started-don't put it off. If you really want to learn anything-you will find a way. It's that simple! I am from Greensboro and firmly established here. I 'm married with two teenagers. I am not going to quit on you! Just get going! *** Lesson Details *** I am laid back and patient. People (young and older) take lessons because they want to feel good. I will certainly encourage and guide you along the path. I use the Alfred Prep Course for piano students because it is easy and fun. I utilize other methods in my curriculum, too.
