Teaching since:

I am a dedicated cellist and string teacher from Kansas City, Missouri, currently living in Sacramento. I just completed the first year of my Master's degree in Music Performance at Sacramento State, and plan to graduate in May of 2019.
I am passionate about making a difference with my music, and am currently teaching in the Sacramento String project to educate young musicians willing to learn. I started playing cello at the age of 9, and have studied with great cellists Dana Hughlett, Andy Luchansky and Thalia Moore. While performing in the Liberty High School Chamber Orchestra, I competed at the National ASTA conference in 2011 and 2013. I was the principal cellist during my time at Graceland University, where I earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Music performance and Publication Writing and Design. I now play as assistant principal in the Sacramento State Symphony Orchestra.
