Ableton with Corey B.

Hello, my name is Corey and I'm a music mentor currently offering private music production lessons in Ableton Live and Logic Pro X! I've been playing music for 15 years, was a drummer for multiple bands, played in jazz band at moorpark college for a bit until I eventually started investing in my own equipment and recording the local bands. Since then I have racked up 10 years of experience with DAWS and have taken courses through Berklee School of Music as well as completing multiple music production programs including Icon Collective and have had several very knowledgable mentors that have worked in the field. I currently work with W.A. Productions making sample packs and educational content and have worked in the past with Academy.fm (Cymatics). I specialize in most styles of EDM, Trap/Rap, and can also work with Rock and Metal as that was my main genre for about 7 years. Students that decide to work with me can expect to gain a much deeper understanding of the DAW, how to squeeze the most potential from the tools inside of it, and how to get you mixes and masters up to a level where they compete with commercial tracks. I also can help you quickly broaden your understanding of sound design and synthesis, and get you making your own quality samples in no time. From there if you feel you need to take it further, I can show you how to put it all together and create your own tracks from scratch that really have a signature sound to them, and show you how to take those tracks and show them to the world!
