Djembe' hand drums
Hand drums especially the Djembe is my favorite instrument. As a master hand drummer teaching from the beginning stages to intermediate and even advanced players I enjoy developing. My primary goal is to guide the student to release their own drum techniques & sounds. They becomes their own personal music in playing this amazing instrument. Your spirit and voice needs to come through the rhythms and techniques of you own ability of playing this awsome device of the motherland. I'd be honored to share my years of experience with you.

About Clifton L.
I started playing hand drums back in Pueto Rico. and from a child into an adult playing the Djembe is apart of who I am in reality. I've been a professional musician for over 30 years. It is a personal passion of mine that includes teaching for even longer. I believe inspiration and experience plays a very important role in connecting with my students. I also have a degree in music and I've played music on stages live and in a number of settings such as classroom instruction and private lessons.

I've done live T. V. shows such as the Jerry Lewis Telethon and we played aganist each as hand drummers. I've worked in live shows in chicago with Buddie Rich in night clubs like Mr. Kellys. I've opened shows with pros like Natalie Cole. And Lou Rawls in a number of night clubs. I went from R & B music into Gospel music where I use a number of my other drum and bass skills to present date.
