I have been playing acoustic guitar for over ten years and would love to help you learn in a way that is suited to your learning style as well as to whatever it is you want to get out of playing the guitar. Want to learn theory and build up a solid foundation for the instrument? Great! Want to skip most of that and just work on learning the songs you want to learn? Great!
 Guitar is supposed to be enjoyable and if you can push through the challenging beginnings (and the occasional finger pain!) You will certainly find much joy in playing music. 
I am patient and easy going but am willing to push and challenge students so as to promote breakthroughs.
My own playing is primarily fingerpicking in a style unique to myself and often using open tunings. I perform my original instrumental compostions at local restaurants and art galleries.
