Fiddle with Claire S.

Claire S is a multi-instrumentalist currently living in Nashville, TN. As a performing musician, she has played shows across North America, most recently joining CelticIllusion, playing fiddle for their first 2020/2022 Canadian/US tour. Claire is also a member of Micheal Londra’s band since 2020 touring throughout the United States. As an educator, In 2019 Claire founded the Nashville Irish Music School teaching music on a variety of instruments both online and in person. In 2012 she became a student teacher for the Atlanta Irish Music School, teaching not only fiddle and concertina, but tin whistle and bodhran. During her time with the Atlanta Irish Music School, she has performed at numerous venues: Chamber of Commerce, Spivey Hall, Atlanta City Winery and Emory Celtic Christmas. In 2013 under the Atlanta Celtic Company, Claire began to play and Irish dance with many bands in Atlanta, Georgia. Claire has participated in the Fleadh numerous years placing in the concertina and flute. In attending the Mid-west Fleadh, she participated in the Grupai Ceoil and Ceili Band competitions. Claire plays the fiddle for many Feiseanna (Irish Dance Competitions) throughout the US and Mexico since 2018. As a musician in the Feis Circuit Claire has the privilege of playing the Southern and Mid- Atlantic Oireachtas Competitions. She is a graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in Communications Studies and a certificate in Music Business.
