Mar, 2020 - PresentMusiqBx
MusiqBx is a new podcast brought to you by Juilliard and Yale graduates. Our goal is to break the boundaries of classical music, which has an uncertain future. The current delivery model is targeted at an audience that is primarily educated, white, older and affluent. Access to classical music is a challenge for most. Live classical music is accessible in concert halls and concerts are expensive. Secondly, radio is another way that classical music is accessible, but it is a passive method that tends to appeal to an educated audience, and does little to convert a wider audience. In addition, there is a lingering stigma classical music being elitist and exclusive. MusiqBx seeks to reverse that stigma and increase the scope and audience of classical music with weekly guest artists, engaging interviews, and educational segments that bring classical music back to the people.
