I have ten years of musical training and experience. I am a graduate of the Longy School of Music of Bard College. My studies in music performance have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. Longy School of Music is committed to preparing their graduates to succeed and navigate the multi-faceted world of professional music in the 21st century. I received thorough training in music performance, theory, history, pedagogy, and teaching artistry. In addition I participated in the El Sistema Side by Side program (an orchestra where young students play with and are mentored by college students). I am passionate about making music education available to all. The values derived from music—patience, persistence, self awareness, discipline, and empathy— are vital for the world today.
