Learn to perfect the violin with personalized lessons from a professional violinist

Holding a Master's degree at Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, I'm an experienced teacher and have taught students of all ages. I'm happy to help my students set up lesson plans. To build students’ foundation in ear training, music theory and skill improvement are all necessary and beneficial to music study. I believe that both short-term and long-term goals help students be more motivated, active and determined on instrument learning. I'm happy to discuss repertoire with students, based on their interests and levels. Besides, I always love to see my students have overcome stage fright and pressure, frequently playing in performances and competitions confidently.

    About Cindy C.

As a professional violinist, pianist, and educator, I'm passionate on sharing the beauty and knowledge of music. I started playing the piano at the age of four and playing the violin in the following year. Having experience in orchestra and chamber concerts, I've been exploring music in a variety of forms. Holding a Master's degree at Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and studied my undergraduate at National Taiwan Normal University, where I also have a certificate in Music Education for middle-school students. I always try my best to understand the difficulties and challenges my students may face, and to assist, inspire and communicate with them patiently. Also, I welcome any questions students may have after lessons. I'm happy to help my students set up lesson plans. To build students’ foundation in ear training, music theory and skill improvement are important and beneficial to music study. I believe that both short-term and long-term goals help students be more motivated, active and determined on instrument learning. Besides, I always love to see my students have overcome stage fright and pressure, frequently playing in performances and competitions confidently. I'm also glad to discuss the repertoire with my students, based on their interests and levels.
