Hello - welcome to my TakeLessons.com site!!
I am a professional singer and voice teacher. I received my Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance from East Carolina University and my Master's degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where I was a Dieterle Scholar.
I love to teach - have been doing it for 15 years! My students are beginners, professionals, and just about everything in-between. My students sing in all sorts of styles from the classical to the commercial - at the end of the day it is my job to help you cultivate a technique that keeps you strong and healthy.
My students have gone on to undergraduate and graduate study at institutions including Indiana University, Wright State University, CCM, and Miami University (Ohio). They have also appeared in productions with companies including Disney, Cincinnati Opera, Cortland Repertory Theater, Bigfork Summer Playhouse, Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, and the Grammys. I am proud to have maintained 100% matriculation of students desiring to attend competitive institutions of higher education for musical study.
Whether you are auditioning for that next big role, starting a band, or have been singing for decades - I know I can help you along the way to reach your goals. My approach is to have fun, laugh, and work hard. We talk about and work on the fundamentals - breathing, support, vowels. We work on extending your range and improving your vocal flexibility. A good singing technique rooted in long-standing tradition tailored to your instrument is what I offer - you bring your passion and your voice!

I took voice lessons with Christopher for several months and was very happy with how my voice improved with every lesson. His methods of teaching helped me to overcome my performance anxiety as his humor and sincerity helped to calm my nerves. I truly enjoyed taking lessons with him and would encourage anyone whether they are just starting to find their voice or have been singing for years. He really is a great coach and teacher.+ Read More
