Hi folks! I'm an operatic soprano who works and teaches freelance in Minneapolis. I have an MM in Vocal Performance at the University of Minnesota, with a BM in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. In addition to experience teaching vocal technique, I have experience with English, French, Italian and German diction, and many musical styles. Pop, musical theater, you name it! It's all good. :) I have been teaching English for several years, and I really enjoy getting to know people from all over the world! I am TEFL-certified and have several Cambridge Teacher Knowledge certifications. I try to make my lessons as fun as possible, and will organize the lessons according to your wants, needs, experience, and age! Singing lessons typically start with a short physical and vocal warm-up, and then we move on to repertoire (selected by either myself or the student). As with English lessons, singing lessons are very student-focused--I will structure the lessons to work toward the goals we make together!

Christine is seriously a great teacher! She explains things so well and clearly and is very friendly
Christine is absolutely amazing. Not only does she have a lovely voice, but she is also great at teaching others to sing too! I've been taking singing lessons with Christine for a few months now, and I can hear my voice getting better over time. Christine is so nice and patient during her lessons. She makes me feel better about my singing by interspersing constructive criticism with positive feedback and praise as well. She's always on time and you get your money's worth; she packs the time we have together with lots of useful ideas I can work on the rest of the week. Christine is positive and a joy to be around. She is the absolute best. I highly recommend!
