Hi! My name is Chien-Kai W. and I am a very energetic, friendly, and outgoing person. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music and Minor in Kinesiology. I have played horn for over ten years and have learned how to play and teach the fundamentals of numerous woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Along with my education, I devote myself to exercise and participate in athletic and extra-curricular activities: running half marathons, learning new sports, dancing ballroom competitions, and teaching and assisting social dance lessons. Although I am classically trained, I strive to in making sure that my students succeed in their fundamentals and are having a fun, good experience. My goals as a teacher is to make sure that you achieve your goals as a artist, performer, and learner. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and have you experience the best of your interests and craft.

Mr. Wang's teachings made impact on my son's trumpet skills in just five lessons. He worked diligently with my son to improve on his weak points and gave him excellent tips to be better with his instrument. He encouraged him along the way and his support has already made my son a better trumpet player.
