About Chelsea S.
I have a few beliefs:
I believe that everyone should know how to play an instrument. Whether it is violin, ukulele, piano, their voice, whatever! Music is a part of what makes us human, and is important for personal development.
I believe that no one is "too old" to start up an instrument. Age is only a number and it is never too late to start up something that may become a passion.
I believe that learning an instrument is a journey. Any journey has its ups and downs, but in the end, you are glad you took that first step.
I have been playing violin for over 10 years, and along the way have picked up some ukulele, voice, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and piano. I am a teacher, and I have the knowledge and know-how to pass along to any student. However, I also consider myself a student in that I am always looking to learn how to improve myself.
Any student of mine will have 100% of my interest in their growth and development as a musician. I can work with a wide variance of ages, having experience in ages 4-12 year old children.
I look forward to meeting with you soon!
GREAT, AWSOME, FANTASTIC
Chelsea is very cheerful and kind, she talks about how your day was and gets your excited and ready to play the violin again.
Great teacher and very friendly to children. Chelsea teaches in a fun way so you get motivated into learning.
My 4yr old son loved her and is excited to learn!
Great first lesson! Chelsea goes over everything that is easy to understand. Gives great practice techniques and tailors the lessons to the students.

I am very pleased with the lesson. I am very much looking forward to learning the violin. Chelsea is an excellent teacher
Great job! I’m excited to learn violin.
My son is so super excited!! She was great!!!
Our first time with Chelsea and she was wonderful with our assortment of children!
I was very impressed by Chelsea's teaching method. Thorough, yet very patient and kind. I took lessons over 50 years ago - and learned more in my first lesson with Chelsea than I did the year or two of lessons! Can't wait for my next lesson! Great job, Chelsea!Show More

My daughter is high energy and Chelsea didn’t skip a
beat 😊. Chelsea handled her beautifully and was able
to keep my daughter focused.
Only the first lesson and Chelsea has her playing two
new songs to practice.
Thank you so much !
Chelsea has great patience with my 2 kids. She keeps their interest while teaching them piano. They really like their lessons with her & I am very happy that she is teaching them piano. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn piano!
Chelsea is a wonderful teacher. Playing a plastic recorder for a week in fourth grade music class is the extent of my musical experience and that was a LONG time ago. Chelsea is great at finding the right place for me to start learning and then laying out for me exactly what I need to work on in order to progress to the next stage of my learning process. I had been considering teaching myself how to play the violin via youtube videos but learned more in the span of one hour-long session with Chelsea than I could have learned in a week going that route. Chelsea was able to address the importance of things like posture and breathing to achieve the best possible sound, without that real time one-on-one instruction this would have been a nuance that I would not have ever picked up on. She is punctual, friendly, polite and patient. I highly recommend hiring her to teach you or your kids an instrument.Show More
She was great with my daughter and made her feel very comfortable.first session I think she will be a great teacher for kaelynn.
Chelsea was super patient and explained things very well. I was nervous, I have never been good at playing instruments let alone Ukulele but she made me feel very comfortable and I had a lot of fun during our lesson. Excited to keep working with Chelsea!
Chelsea is so patient! I started taking lessons with her when I first became interested in the ukulele. She inspired me to go out and play gigs and helped me become really confident in myself. She connects with me and always listens, especially when I'm having a bad day. She is honest, and caring, and is a wonderful teacher. I'm so grateful for her and everything she's done for me as a musician!Show More
