Alfred's Basic Piano Course, Piano Adventures, and John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course are some of my favorite curricula for beginners. 

Music has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy playing classical cello, piano, and Irish whistle as well as performing on the violin. I have 12 years of music experience and love to perform (weddings/Lake Norman Philharmonic/church worship team)! I have been giving private lessons in music reading and technique with a primarily classical focus since 2018. These classes encourage brain development through pattern recognition, coordination, and rhythm. I have students ranging from 4yrs - senior adults. My students with high energy and difficulty concentrating have grown in their attention span and learned to channel some of their energy through this creative outlet.

My daughter has been taking lessons from Charity for about 7 months, and I am so impressed with how she is learning and progressing. Charity is a very caring and kind teacher and has been great to work with.

My son loves his piano lessons and Charity is very patient and kind. 

I look forward to my lesson every week a wonderful teacher I have learn so much from Charity I love playing the violin and always want to learn more a caring and understanding teacher that is the best.

My daughter has been taking violin lessons for several months now and she loves going each week. I was nervous about starting her at only 4 years old but Charity works so well with her! My daughter’s music knowledge and love for the violin has grown thanks to Charity’s patience and kindness while teaching her. I can’t wait to see how much she will continue to learn!

Over the past 4yrs. Charity has taught my three children to play violin. She's a caring, enthusiastic teacher that loves working with children. Every child has different interests/abilities and Charity was able to walk each of my children through different teaching methods and music styles helping them to grow in their playing ability and love of music overall.
