Howdy! My name is Cassie and I've been teaching private lessons full time since January 2019. I have loved every second of it!. Piano/Ukulele/Guitar: I take on a playful approach to music, turning instruments into friends and notes into stories. Students will learn the foundations of music and their instrument while having fun and discovering music as it relates to all parts of their lives. I believe music was meant to help us understand, process, and communicate. Drums: I'm a professional gigging drummer based in Austin with 20 years of experience to share with you. For experienced drummers, you can expect lessons curated to the specific areas you want to focus on. And for beginners, you can will learn the foundations of drumming while fostering your unique style and creativity behind the kit. I can help any student to play skillfully with confidence, musicality and, most importantly, have fun doing it! I teach drum students of all different ages and experience levels, and am known for being great with young students.
