Sharing my love of music and teaching others is my passion. I began teaching piano and harp lessons when I was in high school. After earning two degrees in music performance at the University of Arizona, I continued my love of teaching by working as the Artistic Director of the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble for 7 years. There I taught harp lessons to hundreds of students, and tried to make music fun and accessible to everyone regardless of their background. I believe that students learn best when the teacher is able to balance hard work and discipline with joy, humor, and a caring relationship with each student.

I taught daily group and private lessons to hundreds of students in the Atlanta Public School system. We performed at prestigious events around Atlanta from the Governor's Mansion to Atlanta City Hall. Several of these students went on to earn college scholarships for their harp playing, and also attended programs such as Interlochen, Brevard, and the Young Artists Harp Seminar.
