Welcome to my page! I work to create a positive and fun learning environment, and I adapt my teaching style to match the individual student's learning style. I help students build a strong technical foundation through scales, music theory, and ear training so that they have the freedom to find their own expressive voice. I also focus on body awareness so students play with more ease and comfort. My job is to help each student meet their own musical goals and to help them experience music as an enjoyable and inspiring part of their lives. I have my BM from Oberlin Conservatory and my MM from Boston Conservatory and have been teaching for 8 years. Along with my private studio in JP, I am on the violin faculty at YoFES, Conservatory at Highlands in Newton, and a studio in Wayland.
