Trumpet with Candace T.

i have been playing the trumpet for 42 years. I have a doctorate of music in performance from the university of South Carolina. My teachers have included Jerry Amend, Leon Rapier, Phil Collins, Alan Siebert, Michael Tunnell, Gordon Mathie and Keith Amstutz. I played in the Army Band - mostly in Germany - for 6 years. Past major ensemble experience includes subbing with the Louisville Orchestra, Louisville Bach Society, Indianapolis Symphony and the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra as well as many, many freelance gigs. My claim to fame was being the official bugler at Churchill Downs including 3 KY Derbies and 1 Breeders Cup.
