    About Camille E.

    Camille Enderlin is a versatile New York City based violinist. Camille received her Master of Music degree from New York University in 2017, where she was honored with an award for Excellence and Outstanding Achievement in the Graduate String Studies Program. Camille received her B.M. in Violin Performance from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she also minored in Art History. Camille's primary teachers have been Yuval Yaron and Naoko Tanaka. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Camille began studying violin at the age of 8 with Daryl Schilling. As a youth, Camille performed regularly with the Villa Sinfonia Foundation, a San Francisco based non-profit organization. Camille performed with VSF on tour in Italy, Austria, and The Czech Republic. Camille is a proud alumna of Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, the public performing arts high school of San Francisco. As an orchestral musician, Camille has performed with various orchestral ensembles, including the Chelsea Symphony, The National Orchestral Institute, New Rochelle Opera, among others. She has attended summer festivals such as San Francisco Conservatory’s Summer Music West, NYU Summer Strings, The National Orchestral Institute + Festival (NOI) and Summeracademy Voksenasen in Olso, Norway. At NOI, Camille played on the recording for a Naxos Records “American Classics” album, which received a 2018 Grammy nomination for “Best Orchestral Performance.” In addition to traditional concert halls, Camille can be spotted playing at NYC venues such as The Highline Ballroom, Feinstein's 54 Below, Green Room 42, among others. Camille has performed with various musical theater, immersive theater, and dance groups in the tri-state area such as American Theater Group and Linked Dance Theater. Camille is a proponent of all kinds of music and also enjoys working with composers and recording new music. In 2018, she performed in “In Dreams: Roy Orbison in Concert, The Hologram Tour” in Long Island. Camille also has performed in outreach concerts with the Chelsea Symphony at Riker’s Island Correctional Facility and the Manhattan Detention Complex. As an educator, Camille previously served as Adjunct Violin Faculty member at New York University. Camille now teaches private lessons in Manhattan to students of all ages and abilities.
