My name is Cameron, I’m 32 years old, born and raised in Redwood City California and I’ve been playing guitar for 22 years. I have been performing and recording with various bands and I started teaching lessons about 15 years ago. I currently play in five different bands which include: Sea in the Sky, Crepuscle, Darkness Everywhere, Illucinus, and The Hunt. I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for three semesters, where I focused on guitar performance and studied a variety of music genres including jazz and latin fusion. I also used to play in Letters from the Fire, a band with extensive touring experience and radio charting singles. My primary background is in rock/metal but I enjoy playing and teaching all styles and all skill sets. I am very passionate about the guitar, and I love to teach and consider myself very patient and open minded when it comes to my approach. I like for students to take lessons on their terms, learning the things that inspire them and give them the drive to further themselves on the instrument and as people. Feel free to contact me, I would love to get some lessons going!

    Letters From The Fire

This is the group I'm currently involved with professionally, we released our current album "Worth The Pain" in the Fall of 2016, and have since sold 15,000 copies world wide as well as had two singles hit #28 and #21 on the rock radio charts. This last year was a busy one on the road as we played Shiprocked '17, toured with Lacey Sturm, Black Stone Cherry, Seether and more! Check us out at facebook.com/lettersfromthefire

    Guitar Instructor

    Mar, 2015 - Nov, 2017

School of Rock - Palo Alto

I worked at this teaching location primarily as a guitar teacher, but also substituted for a variety of instruments including drums, bass, and keyboard. I also taught group rehearsals in preparation for the shows.

    Drummer

    Jun, 2008 - Jun, 2013

    Park Lane/Letters From The Fire

Before I played guitar in this band I was the drummer for 5+ years. In this time we toured the country on numerous occasions with the likes of Fuel and 12 Stones. I then left to go to Berklee to work more on guitar and have since rejoined on the instrument.
