Swimming with Caitlyn L.

I am 23 years old and the oldest of three in my family. I have been swimming competitively for 11 years and swam in college. My two brothers are also swimmers. Ryan my youngest brother is autistic and I also worked for a nonprofit called Include Autism, so I have some experience and knowledge on how to work with those with special needs. Both my parents are very hardworking and supportive of us. I graduated from UCSD this winter and majored in Psychology with a double minor in Political Science and Educational studies. I aspire to reform education after I teach for a while. I am punctual and have my own car. I have experience as a teachers assistant for 1st, 2nd, and 5th graders. I also have coached kids ranging from 5 to 20. I have coached for a year for Swim San Diego as an assistant coach. I swam competitively for 11 years and swam for UCSD and CSUB on their womens swim team. I was the Head coach of the UCSD swim club team and volunteered to coach the NCAA UCSD swim team as well. I have also worked as a swim instructor at UCSD and taught kids from 1-12 to swim. I am also lifeguard certified and first aid and cpr. I also minored in educational studies and was a teachers assistant.
