Violinist Bryan has been praised countless times for his exceptional musicianship, beautiful expressivity, and heart. He has opened for the rock band, Jimmy Eat World, with the group Snake Snake Snakes and has also championed classical solo works by Mozart, Bruch and Bach. With over ten years of notable performance experience, Bryan has played section violin with the Scottsdale Philharmonic, Northern Arizona University (NAU) Symphony Orchestra, and Phoenix College Community Orchestra. Among these groups, he has had the opportunity to accompany talented solo artists such as QingQing Ye, Katherine McLin, and Thomas Landschoot. He was also a member of the NAU Chamber Orchestra where the ensemble partnered with the NAU Opera to perform Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.” Bryan has held positions with various string quartets such as the Phoenix String Quartet and the Shiraz String Quartet, performing a range of repertoire from traditional classical pieces to covers of today’s pop music. Bryan’s principal teachers have included Dr. Jaquelyn Schwandt and Lia Taylor. In addition to music, Bryan takes delight in other creative outlets like sewing, sculpting, and drawing. He currently resides in San Diego, CA as a performer and teacher where he strives to share the joys of the art found through music.

Bryan is amazing! He is very talented and he has a true passion for the violin and for teaching! I started from scratch with Bryan and I have come so far. He is very patient and knowledgeable. Bryan made me feel very comfortable since the first lesson I had with him. I would recommend him to any parent searching for someone to teach their child or to any adult looking to start a new musical journey!
