I have been playing the guitar seriously for approximately 32 years. I taught myself to play while enlisted in the US Navy. Using books and playing by ear were my methods of learning. I began writing songs shortly after learning to play, this was quite a satisfying outlet for all sorts of emotions! As a civilian I have been in various bands from Blues to Classic Rock to Heavy Metal. All were learning experiences, plus a lot of fun! I also play bass guitar and can provide lessons on that if you are interested. I am a paraplegic and cannot come to your location so if you are interested I am located in Richland behind Walmart. I have been instructing people for a number of years but not as a formal teacher. I would like to take time now to teach what I have learned over the years to whoever is interested in learning this marvelous instrument that brings me so much pleasure!
