Multi instrumentalist, singer and goof! I've taught in between playing and learning since I was 16. I've played music for 15 years (since I was 8 years old) and was singing for longer. I have my degree in Jazz Studies from Shenandoah Conservatory.
I want you to get better at what you love to do. I'm not the kind of teacher that yells or makes you feel bad. I work at your pace. BUT, I'm always clear about the work you need to do yourself. Lessons alone don't make anyone better, it's practicing that really does it.
If you're serious about learning the basics or taking things to the next level, I can help you get there by sharing with you my love of music. With patience, I can teach you how to grow your appreciation and love for the music you like to do. Everything takes patience. We can work together on your goals. Let's talk and find out if what I'm about works for you.
Throughout late high school and college I've always had a small group of students that I teach, ranging from many ages. Currently, I teach many students the fundamentals of jazz piano and voice.
Taught guitar, piano and bass to many different ages of students, but mostly younger students around the ages of 8 to 10. Focused more on classical fundamentals.
Taught guitar, bass, piano and group lessons and individual lessons from ages 7-18. Focused on learning almost entirely by ear or writing new songs. Half hour to hour lessons.
