Acoustic Guitar with Brittany S.

My name is Britt. I am a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist. I love music with all my heart, and I want you to love it too! I have been playing and writing for seventeen years and have lots of experience performing solo and with bands as a singer, guitarist and writer. I want my students to have fun with music, express themselves, pursue their individual goals and become competent musicians. I have completed extensive coursework in music theory, history and performance and also have a dual bachelor's degree in studio art and cultural anthropology. I am a life long learner, currently studying guitar theory and guitarmaking. I sing in a women's a cappella quartet. In my own music making, I do not shy away from melting expressive platforms together. I teach with an open heart, an open mind and an awareness of where a student needs to be to get where they want to go. I look forward to helping you get there!
