    Find how Dance Technique looks and feels on your body with a Professional Dancer

    'Finding Your Technique' is a class that I have created for dancers ages 5-Professional Level. Finding your technique involves the look and feel of common technique practices on your individual body. I cover all of those corrections your ballet teacher says without ever fully explaining them to you. Every person has a different movement quality and skill set so in the Finding Your Technique series I meet you where you are at today and we grow from there. Combining my knowledge as a professional dancer with the anatomical knowledge I have as a Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique, and SugarFoot Therapy Instructor all into one so you get the best version of yourself possible.     About Britney K.

    Hi! My name is Britney. I am a dancer who fell in love with the process of creating strong, resilient, capable dancers. Growing up I was a competition dancer who carried on to a Performing Arts College. While in college I suffered a severe injury that threatened to end my career. I worked with an amazing team of Physical Therapists who were Pilates trained to get me back into dance. Ever since stepping on a Reformer I become obsessed with Pilates and how it transformed my body. I continued to learn through different programs like Progressing Ballet Technique, SugarFoot Therapy, Pilates Encyclopedia, and Barre Intensity how injury prevention training can shape a dancer for the better. Though I am still dancing professionally I use a portion of my time to train athletes (dancers and non-dancers) on how THEIR body functions and what they need to find their peak performance.
