Hello! I am a senior in high school this year. I play first chair alto saxophone in my high school's top band. I have earned Gold and Gold 'with Distinction' at the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA)'s State Solo and Ensemble competition. I have performed with the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso, Indiana as a pit orchestra musician playing several woodwind instruments (piccolo, flute, clarinet, and alto saxophone). Our lessons will consist of music theory, note reading, breathing, and technique. On piano, I play many genres, from classical to pop, and I play on my church's worship team. I have accompanied students to ISSMA District Solo and Ensemble. Our lessons will consist of basic music theory, note reading, and technique. I currently student teach at our school system's middle school, teaching 6th and 7th-grade band. I have experience with accelerated learners, as well as students with special needs. I really have a passion for music and it would be my dream to inspire our next generation to have an appreciation of music!
