He was very encouraging and didn’t rush me at all.
This was only my first lesson, but I feel good about my future as a banjo player.

Brian is very knowledgeable about the banjo, music theory, and technique. Most importantly, Brian’s approach is customized the skills, objectives, and interests of the student. Brian effectively uses the online platform to facilitate the lesson. All-in-all, a great instructor!

If I could give Brian 10 stars, I would. He is enthusiastic, present, supportive and highly knowledgeable. Learning instruments has always been a challenge for me , but Brian makes being a banjo beginner an absolute joy. I look forward to practicing every day, and can really hear my progress - which amazes me because it's only been just over a month. I can see myself working with Brian for the long haul. He puts me at ease, and always gives great responsive tips that improve my playing immediately. I feel SO lucky to have stumbled across his profile.

Brian is a very patient and knowledgeable musician. He can work with and teach a person at any age and/or skill level. I've made so much progress on the banjo in a pretty short amount of time, and could not have done so without a teacher. He charges great prices and the lessons and material are worth every penny!
