Hello! I teach music and dance here on Take Lessons. I teach online and in person. I am a professional musician and artist. I have been dancing and playing music since I was 3 years old when I had first started taking lessons from the best of the best! MUSIC: I am a classically trained pianist, and have been teaching music for 10 years and can teach beginner to advanced students in Voice and Piano. With music, I earned a Certification of Merit through MTAC (Musical Teachers’ Association of California) I am a professional songwriter and vocalist, trained and mentored by Grammy nominated songwriter, Harloe (Jessica Ashley Karpov). I have plenty of studio experience and sing, write, and produces and records for other artists as well as my own music. I lived in New York for 4 years and while I was there I had the privilege of working as a teaching artist for Dreamstreet Theater Company, a non-profit organization for those with developmental disabilities and special needs. While in New York I performed in cabaret, variety shows as well as her own shows as a singer/songwriter. I was a pianist in ABC’s Television Series “The Fosters”. I also am a VoiceOver artist and actor.  I love to teach my students the vocal work involved including dictation, annunciations, accents as well as helping you prepare for auditions. I am more than happy to help my students put together a solid demo, write their own song from start to finish, and teach you how to go about working in studio sessions. I do find that a classical background, music theory, reading music and technique  are very important but I love to customize the lessons and make them fun by including your favorite musical artists and genres! DANCE:I trained in Dance for 15 years at the best dance studios in Southern California. Have taken master classes with amazing teachers and choreographers. My home studio was Bobbies School of Performing Arts and won several competitions when I was dancing with TOHS dance team. I teach my own style of DanceYoga Soul Fusion and Contemporary/Modern/Lyrical, Improv dance and am a Zumba Certified Instructor! I love to move and groove it is the best practice for anyone's self confidence and expressing yourself and feeling the music and beat! Get up and dance!
