Consider the advantages of studying music privately! Here in my Sarasota home, the atmosphere is quieter than having a lesson in a public music business establishment. In a private atmosphere, you, the student and I, your teacher are better able to concentrate and hear one another. A current member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association,) I hold a B. S. in Music from Adelphi University located in Garden City, NY. I've been teaching piano and voice since 2002 to students 5 years old and older. Student recitals are held twice yearly at my home. Students learn music appreciation, music history, genres, artists, and composers from materials here in my music library. Voice students will rehearse periodically with a professional accompanist and perform with a professional accompanist. I've performed nationally and internationally; ten years singing with Palm Beach Opera Company, and in Quebec, Montreal, Spain, Italy, England, Denmark, Austria, and Jamaica, W.I.
