About Bram M.
Violinist Bram Margoles has a passion for traditional classical music, as well as period baroque, new music written by living composers, improvised music, folk music, and rock. An avid orchestral musician, Bram holds positions in the Ann Arbor and Lansing Symphonies. Chamber music is perhaps Bram’s favorite activity; he has performed extensively in Ann Arbor and elsewhere with many groups including his contemporary music groups, the Converge new music collective and The Room 1078 String Quartet. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2016 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, studying with Aaron Berofsky, and his Masters also from U of M in 2018, studying with David Halen. He teaches violin and viola in Ann Arbor and is open to be contacted by any prospective students.
