Trumpet with Ben P.

Hi! My name is Ben and I'm a Chicago based trumpeter. I've been playing the trumpet for almost 15 years and I'm eager to pass on my knowledge to you! I graduated from Lawrence University in 2015 with a bachelors degree in trumpet performance, and I recently graduated from DePaul University with a masters degree in Jazz Studies. I have also studied abroad at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Jan Oostof and Ruud Bruels of the WDR Big Band. I play trumpet for Chicago based soul/funk band Bassel and the SupernaturaIs, and I have performed at venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, Summerfest Music Festival in Milwaukee, and Chicago favorites such as the Green Mill, Andy's Jazz Club, and The Jazz Showcase. I can help you improve your fundamentals of trumpet playing, musicality, and jazz improvisation.
