Guitar with Balam G.

Hi, future student!! My name is Balam G. and I am a native Angelino. I have a serious passion for contemporary music and I am well versed in many different styles and genres. Although I am classically trained, I play lots of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, R&B, Soul/Neo-soul, Acoustic Folk, Hip-Hop and anything in between! I graduated from the local arts High School known as LACHSA (LA County High School for the Arts) in 2010 and that same year, I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston with a full-tuition scholarship. There, I honed my skills as a performer, producer, and composer. In 2014, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors of Music. In addition to my schooling, I have received a great deal of my education by performing and leading bands. I have performed at venues in LA such as the Hollywood Bowl and Catalina Bar and Grill. Also, I have accompanied artists in the East Coast, opening for acts such as Sam Smith and Lauryn Hill.
