A graduate of music education from San Diego State University - I have been teaching privately for almost 10 years. Ages of my students have ranged from 3 years to adults. My main instrument is trombone (as well as brass instruments), but can also teach you or your loved one how to read music, intermediate and advanced music theory/appreciation, piano, and guitar. Now located in Honolulu, I am looking for new minds to mold :) For at-home lesson clients: Please have your own instrument and music stand. I will supply sheet music suggestions, but expect to buy music once we start. As always, an open mind! I specialize in teaching children ages 7 into high school. I have experience teaching in preschool, elementary, middle, and high schools. As a scholarship recipient of the California Music Project, I taught in 5 elementary schools, as well as one middle school for the entirety of 2 school years. I will bring my instruments in order to give you hands on opportunity to play and learn.
