    I received my training thru private lessons starting at the age of 6/7. Then when I got into high school I started studying under professors at Hanover College for 2 years for music performance. I chose to do the family thing first instead of going off to college. So I went back to College when I was 30 and 3 kids under 10 for performance/music ed. Crazy huh? But I loved it. But it was hard school full time long distance drive 3 kids to raise. I chose to raise my kids first and then go back for me. Which now brings us to today. I'm now and empty nester and loving the fact I can play piano any time I want day or night. With out waking anyone up. So it's fun again. And I want to make it fun to some new students to. I look forward to helping new students achieve their goals.

    I have over 40+ years of experience. Been playing since I was 6 years old. I actually still keep in touch with my piano teacher that lives in Virginia now. But she's still my inspiration. I started music conservatory when I was 30. Got in, drove 65 miles 1 way to go to school all day and then come home and take care of my 3 kids that were under 10 years old at the time. That lasted about a year. Got to be to much. I delayed it until my kids are grown. Well I'm at that part my life now. I love watching peoples faces when they feel the music for the first time and truly understand what it means to put feeling behind what you are playing. I also have worked with marching bands that have won state championships and world championships consecutive years running. I have references upon request.
