Singing with Ashley F.

Prior to graduating from the University of Delaware with her B.A. in Choral Music Education she spent her time performing in a variety of different capacities. Heavily involved within the department of music she was cast in several operas and was an active member of the internationally acclaimed UD Chorale. As a four year member of UD’s Vocal Point, she served as Assistant Performance Director in 2014 and Performance Director in 2015. . During her time in the group they secured several quarter and semi final victories as well as placing third at International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Finals in 2014. Ashley was also a member of Cape Harmony, a professional all female a cappella group based in Cape Cod, MA. Between the two groups she been a featured soloist and vocal percussionist on four albums, with albums receiving both BOCA (Best of Collegiate A Cappella) appearances and CARA (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Association) nods. Ashley stays active in the a cappella community through membership in the all female powerhouse group, Polaeris and Tracksix, a coed ensemble of some of New York City's finest. She teaches elementary music in New Jersey but remains a force in the a cappella world through coachings, choreography and adjudicating in the Greater Philadelphia region as well as performing and recording in New York City.
