Drums with April H.

I am a 22 year old percussionist, singer and songwriter with a graduate degree from Berklee College of Music. My love of music has evolved since age five and has transpired into both my passion and profession since then. I have been playing drums and singing in paid positions from age 12 and have 8 years of teaching experience. My youngest student has been 4 years old and my oldest has been 45. I have also worked at the School of Rock in Seekonk and teach privately in students' homes. Recently, I performed at the Phoenix Awards, the Newport Center Samuel Adams Summer Event, and many other local venues including the Fete, the Dunkin Donuts Center, and the Met. I have also made appearances on WBRU, played with the band “NMY”, and recorded in studio sessions for musicians, including Morningbird and Sydney F.  I really enjoy working with students who are equally passionate about playing drumset or percussion (or both!) AND those who are new to music and want to learn more!
