Online volleyball lessons are an excellent way for young middle school and high school volleyball players to quickly improve their individual skills through a private coaching experience. These lessons are conducted by me, a former elite pro indoor and beach volleyball player and USA Volleyball High Performance instructor April C on a weekly basis. Why Take Volleyball Lessons with me, Coach April? Volleyball is composed of six individual skills. -setting -blocking -serving -spiking -defense -passing When a player has a problem, I break down the skill into its multiple upper and lower body performing parts. Then I focus on building, strengthening or correcting the body parts that perform specific aspects of the specific skill. That's why I am successful. Because I break down the multiple parts of each skill...and then, body part by body part, focus and apply exercises that -build strength strength -increases foot speed -increase body and muscle control in low defensive positions -build stamina and conditioning -increase arm swing rotation speed -improve spike approach foot speed -improve serving technique -improve blocking and swing blocking footwork along the net to each particular body part that has to perform that skill. That's what sets me apart. Volleyball lessons are tailored to help -identify weaknesses, then strengthen them. -to breakdown, then build up proper performance skills, in order to enhance the use of the correct technique of each of the six basic skills -to create and enforce muscle memory in order to re-program and correct bad habits -with the ultimate goal of helping players visualize, develop and identify realistic volleyball playing goals -increase the workload and stress load within a positive learning environment so players can deal comfortably with stressful situations in game environments My mission is for each privately trained player to -assist and support players in developing confidence in playing their specific position on the court, while developing a college prep mentality -teach players how to work hard and think fast under/in stressful game like situations -provide a confidence building but challenging environment where players appreciate hard work and discipline and appreciate seeing their own improvement

Strongly recommend any parent in the Las Vegas area to seek out Coach April if your child desires to learn the game of volleyball. By far, she’s the best inspiring and developmental Coach our daughter has had within the last four years. Since attending boot camps, private training sessions, and clinics led by Coach April in the last couple of years, we’ve personally witnessed our daughter’s growth and development improve tremendously. Coach April not only provides exceptional Training and Coaching, but she also teaches her girls vital leadership and life skills that can be used later in life as adults. Her sessions are demanding and fast-paced, but her coaching does not break you down but build you up. As parents, we’ve witnessed significant improvements in speed, agility, serving, digging, and passing.

Coach April has helped me so much over the past year! She helped me elevate my game from playing half of the time to being a full rotation starter! She has played the game for a long time, so she has many insightful comments and corrections that help you fix your mistakes. I have been training with Coach April for 2 years now and I have improved tremendously. She does an incredible job of giving correction as soon as it's needed and having a balance of pushing us and congratulating us when we deserve it. By going to her bootcamp and semi-private lessons I went from not being able to serve over the net at all to being able to place a controlled serve anywhere on the court. Coach April is the best volleyball coach I've ever had!

The Volleyball Voice Boot Camp Classes received the 2018 Nevada Recreation and Park Society award for "Best Sports Program in Nevada" -Creator of the original Volleyball Voice Boot Camp class and elite training, invitation-only Breakfast Club held Saturday mornings for seven years at Stupak Community Center in Las Vegas -Coach April has been teaching volleyball skills to high school and middle school athletes both boys and girls for the past 10 years after moving to Las Vegas in 2006.
