I am a mom of two littles and work from home making patterns and technical specification packages for fashion designers. I teach sewing, pattern making and fashion design lessons from my home studio in Broomfield. I have been sewing since I was 7 years old and while I sometimes use commercial sewing patterns I prefer to make my own, I always have. I have a degree in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, and Product Development. Adding a lot of standard technique to my own methods. In sewing, I can teach you anything from the simplest basics to how to sew stretch fabrics, and much more. There is no need to be afraid of any particular fabrics or machines, book a lesson and we'll go over whatever you need. In Fashion Design I can teach you the basics of fashion drawing and show you how to translate those designs into patterns and sewn garments. Want to learn how to alter clothes to make them fit better? Or how to upcycle pretty much anything. Need just one lesson? OK :) My goal as a teacher is to help you achieve your goals.
