    Voice for Singers and Actors

My students have always had fun in their lessons, which I feel is an important aspect of my teaching. It is my belief that a joyous approach to any kind of lesson is more conducive to steady progress. With Estill Voice Craft, the student will gain an understanding of how the voice works and the ability to control their instrument without tension or strain. As an actress, I can help the student interpret their songs from an acting point of view. Though I teach most musical styles, I am particularly fond of teaching Musical Theater.

    About Anne C.

I have been a singing teacher and actress for over 50 years. I graduated from UMBC with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts. I am also a Certified Master Teacher in Estill Voice Craft and somatic Voicework: The LoVetri Method. The student will learn the anatomy of the vocal instrument and how to access the various adjustments that are possible and how to put them together to achieve 6 different voice qualities which are applicable to different styles of singing in a healthy manner. I incorporate my experience as an actress to guide the student in acting the song.

Urann, the group formed the Lambda Sigma Eta Society, which was later renamed Phi Kappa Phi from the initial letters of the Greek words forming its adopted motto: Philosophìa Krateìto Photôn, "Let the love of learning rule humanity."
