A violinist with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and a Masters in Music, Anna F. uses a classical approach to teaching violin since that gives a foundation of excellence. Anna has taught both privately at home as well as in a private school setting. Anna began teaching around 2007 for a few years privately and then after a teaching break worked in a private school teaching private lessons, an intermediate orchestra, and monitoring a beginning strings video class with all four string instruments.
Anna finished her masters in music in May 2014 and is ready to be a help to your violin learning!

My 12 year old daughter is really looking forward to her next lesson. She likes Anna's upbeat attitude and positive way of teaching. These lessons have been very helpful with music homework from school too. We really appreciate it. Thank you.
I am an international student living in the US, and teacher Anna is incredibly patient, nice, and fun to learn with. I have around 8 months being her student and even though I had cancelled multiple lessons due a variety of reasons, I am about to finish Suzuki 1 and I already started another book. Learning something new when you are in your late teens might be hard, but with her I have improved a lot and I feel happy with my skills. I think that she can adapt easily to any kind of student while still making them learn what she wants them to. Also whenever I have a question or need something, she will always answer within one day without having to wait until the next lesson, which makes learning a lot easier.+ Read More
We've been very happy with Anna, and the online lessons. We have struggled for a very ling time to find a teacher locally that we liked. We kept running across teachers the were to strict and sometimes just mean. We don't want our daughter to be a concert pianist, we just want her to learn the language of music, and love to play. With Anna we have found both of these things. She's very good about having a positive spin on everything, even when she is correcting something she wants our daughter to change. Our daughter is getting better every week, and she LOVES to play again. What more could you ask for?+ Read More
My first lesson went well, I can't wait until the next one!
She is very knowledgable, supportive, and has an upbeat teaching style!
We feel so very blessed to have found Anna. She is very talented and knowledgeable with the violin. Our children with ages ranging from 5-10, just love Anna. She is very patient and kind, yet challenges the children. Anna is very organized and always so professional. We would recommend Anna to anyone looking for a great violin teacher.+ Read More
