Andy is a professional drummer who has been playing and studying drums for over 20 years! He had the privilege of touring with Casting Crowns for over 6 years and playing alongside artists such as Natalie Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Phil Joel from The Newsboys. He understands the struggle of trying to achieve lofty goals as a musician but he also remembers the joy of sitting behind a drum kit for the first time! Andy has been mentoring drum students for about 7 years from his home studio and ROOTS academy in Franklin, TN. He genuinely enjoys seeing students flourish not only as musicians, but more importantly, as individuals.
