Andrew is an active musician and professional educator. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Pittsburgh. Since then, Andrew has taught guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, drum, and rock/pop ensembles in both school and private settings. In addition, he is passionate about writing, playing, and recording original music. He is the primary songwriter, producer, and co-manager of an original band that regularly performs in venues such as World Cafe Live, Grape Room, Trocadero, etc.

My lessons are fun, effective, efficient and relaxed. As a teacher, my primary goal is to provide students with a well-rounded music education. I focus on preparing students to play with other musicians in the style(s) they enjoy!

I have a music stand, and many instruments. A student should have his/her own instrument.

I specialize in rock, funk, blues and classical guitar.
I perform rock, funk, and jazz bass in a wedding ensemble on a regular basis.
Has terrific patience. Helps with a myriad of things that come up in the learning process. He's assisted me with things like what gear to buy/use in the training process to reading music to different tricks to learn to play a new piece of music.
