Adam is a wonderful guitar instructor. He is very knowledgable and he is always calm, patient and very encouraging. He taught me a lot of ways to practice and enjoy music. Thank you Adam! I would highly recommend!
Kristin
I took acoustic guitar lessons with Adam and he was a wonderful teacher. I had little knowledge of the guitar and felt I developed my skills quickly. Adam was patient, nice and came up with fun exercises and song selections. Would highly recommend Adam as a teacher!
Julie
Adam’s superpowers as a guitar teacher are commitment and a calm demeanor. It was clear from my first lesson that Adam was singularly dedicated to my advancement even at times when my dedication wavered. I was able to successfully learn a Death Can for Cutie song that I had loved for years (I will follow you into the dark). Though i had taken lessons in the past, i felt i had the most chemistry with Adam’s thoughtful approach to teaching guitar. Our lessons were fun and laced with lighthearted humor. I moved to NYC and Adam was 100% committed to ensuring our lessons continued via Skype. Unfortunately the move was a big life change that refocused my priorities. I wish that Adam lived in NY so we could continue playing together!

As someone who is comfortable with a variety of musical genres, and techniques, the first thing I want to do with any student is to identify their goals, desires, and ability, and then tailor fit a technique to best compliment those assets. After singing opera professionally for over 11 years, I truly feel that a fundamental approach to singing through "24 Italian Songs and Arias", American/English Art Song, Golden-Age Musical Theater, and Vaccai exercises are the perfect training grounds for the establishment of a healthy, and sustainable vocal technique. For intermediate, and advanced students I aim to incorporate French, and German Art Song, in addition to arias/songs from composers such as Mozart, Handel, Donizetti, Rossini, Bellini, Bernstein, Sondheim, and Gershwin to expand upon various techniques. Unlike some teachers, though, I feel that there is no single-way to teach singing, and I positively love to experiment with a wide variety of vocal, and breathing exercises to ...

About Jesus

Hello There, My name is Jesus. After teaching for over 8-years I have come to learn that there is fundamentally not a single one-size-fits all method to the learning and teaching singing. Flexibility, comfortably, and enjoyability are the the three main pillars of my studio; and when supported

Jesus is simply incredible to work with. I went to him thinking we would immediately start singing opera arias, but instead we started with the absolute fundamentals of singing. We focused on vocal and breathing exercises for the first few lessons, and then slowly started working on songs. My sound is so much more consistent now, I can hold a tune better than I ever thought I could, and he has helped me discover notes I didn’t even know I could sing. He is amazing. I love working with him. Do yourself a favor and take lessons with Jesus. 5-Stars!!!

Lessons are conducted one-on-one in my private studio in the Spring Arts District of Philadelphia. I teach traditional, classical violin playing, and students can expect to gain not only a comprehensive understanding of violin technique, but also a thorough grasp of note-reading, musicality, tone production, rhythm, ear-training, theory and practice/learning techniques.

About Andrea

Music and the violin have always resonated strongly with me. After winning various competitions in my childhood years and traveling to China to perform as a teen, nothing seemed more natural than making a lifelong commitment to the violin. I moved to the culturally and musically-rich city of Boston

I’ve been playing trumpet since I was 10 years old and truly understand how to overcome the hurdles that make the trumpet challenging for beginners. I focus on technique and the reason behind it in an effort to establish good habits and help young players avoid the mistakes I’ve made in my 30 year career of playing.

About Adisa

Adisa Nickerson is a professional trumpet player in the Colorado area with over 30 years of playing experience and an additional 15 years of teaching privately. He loves to work to bring out the best in his students and more importantly works hard to convey a love for the trumpet. His lessons focus

I know Adisa as a musician and performer. He is a wonderful musician, fits well into any type of configuration and always comes across as a team player. As a performer he is delightful - great energy, wonderful interaction skills, and very friendly

The voice is one of the most interesting and fascinating instruments because of its infinite variety of sounds, and for the fact that every single voice is unique. In my classes, I help students to explore their instrument beyond the simple concept of learning a melody and repeating it, showing them how to use their voice at its full potential of expression. I like to teach the technique together with the interpretation, going through every musical style. I firmly believe that there is something to learn from every genre, and I think that the listening process is an essential step to find our own personal voice. There is a whole world hidden behind what we think “singing” is; in my class I like to guide the students through this discovery of their personal inner musical talent, in order to become a real singer and not just a mere vocalist.

About Marco

I'm a singer-songwriter, voice teacher and Berklee College of Music alumni. I started my career in Italy, winning national competitions like the Tour Music Fest, and participating to the first edition of the talent show “The X-Factor”. I graduated at the University of Pisa in “Music, Cinema and The

Marco is a very thoughtful, attentive, and experienced vocal coach. I've started to become a lot more aware of how to delivery songs through my voice. Highly recommended!

Was quickly able to find areas of improvement and provide excersises to fix the issues.
Ben
First of all, Marco is a tremendous singer and musical artist, as evidenced by his amazing vocals and songwriting in his original music. He has years of experience singing and performing professionally, and it shows.

Even more importantly, Marco is a spectacular teacher. He is a student of the voice and knows more about the anatomy of singing than anyone I've ever met. He can describe where you should place your sound, pinpoint how your body is affecting your voice, and immediately show you several exercises that target your specific challenge spots.

Marco has also helped me improve so much as a performer and musician; he has challenged me to sing songs that are slightly out of my comfort zone and given me countless tips on how to pay homage to an artist when covering them while still making the song my own. Finally, he has also helped me develop my own musical style as a cover artist and original artist.

"Piano Lessons

I recommend Ms. Lena for piano lessons. She is skilled at playing and seems very experienced in teaching. I went to her as pretty much a beginner and right away she was able to assess and match my speed. Which I am very grateful for .

One thing I learned about piano is that you should practice a lot :)
I am so pleased and really made a lot of progress in a short amount of time. My friends and family are impressed ! It is a shiny black piano you will play there."
