Hey! I'm a hired gun based in Nashville with a 4-year degree from a private music school in Kansas City called the Forerunner Music Academy. I spent two of those years as a performance major on drums. I've been playing drums for 20 years and have been playing professionally for the past 3 years in Nashville. I currently play for Flo (flomusicoffcial) and Lost Saints. I previously played with TJ Harris (of Decyfer Down), Relentless Flood and Rhett Walker. I've also played in many different church, conference and para-ministry settings in Detroit area, in Kansas City at the International House of Prayer and around Nashville area. I started playing drums when I was 13 and started my first rock band when I was 14. I was in rock bands in high school and college, and played in a ska band in college. I played consistently in the rock scene in Detroit before going to music school in Kansas City. As a performance major, I dug deep into various practice methods, exercises and techniques for hours every week. Once in Nashville, I've played all around Nashville, played at a number of festivals outside of Tennessee like Numbersfest in Ohio, Unity Christian Music Festival in Michigan, Common Ground Festival in Michigan and a number of others, and I also went on a 6 week tour in the US playing with Relentless Flood opening for Disciple in 2019. I have been teaching private lessons for over 15 years. I've had many students with a range of skill levels and ages. I've developed a number of curriculums to suit varying skill levels that address technique, styles, practice exercises and practice routines. I also like to dig into different philosophical approaches to the drums, music and life.
